Alexandra Goudy

A little about me:

I'm a 23-year-old with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I am a creative and passionate individual, looking to gain knowledge and experience in the advertising world. Through the University, I have gained experience in creating ad campaigns through research, as well as creating print and digital ad creatives. I am a registered AAF member and served as the managing editor and head graphic designer in creating an advertising campaign with my team for NSAC and Wienerschnitzel in April of 2019. 

I am interested in art, social media, writing and editing, photoshop, ad campaigns and photography. I am especially interested in the strategy and creative behind advertising campaigns and how to select platforms and create advertisements, tailoring them to specific target audiences.

I have a background in the service industry with 8 years of experience as a waitress in fine-dining environments where I learned much of my guest service, multitasking and excellent communication skills. 

 

I'd describe myself as upbeat, outgoing and driven individual within 

professional environments and love collaborating with other creatives. I am hardworking and love working to reach goals and exceed expectations. Currently, I am looking to learn and apply my current skills through an internship or entry-level job. One day I hope to work amongst other creatives at an advertising agency where I can apply these skills.
